Travelling Scholarship

Twenty-six artists have been selected to exhibit their nature-inspired work in the annual Noosa Regional Gallery Travelling Scholarship exhibition. The scholarship itself, totaling to $13,500, will give three Sunshine Coast artists from the exhibition a rare opportunity to travel and study for their career development.
The scholarship has a global focus, ready to assist with attendance at international and interstate conferences, workshops and master-classes; international and national internships; international research projects; and participation in international and interstate residencies.
The assessment panel is made up of three highly qualified art and design industry professionals:
* Wayne Petrie - former State President Royal Australian Institute of Architects, Sustainable Homes program director and Chair of the Year of the Built Environment
* Andrea Higgins - sector Development Manager, Artisan
* Matt Tobin - Director Urban Art Projects
The winners, announced at the Opening on 13 July are:

* Student Category: Chantelle Fisher
* Highly Recommended: Corrie Wright
