Surfing the '60s is a selection of photographs featuring iconic surfing spots from Noosa to Byron Bay in the late '50s to early '60s. Mal Sutherland was Queensland correspondent for the fledging magazine Surfabout in 1962. His photographs have been rarely seen since that time and this exhibition brings together the stories and tantalizing images of the pristine breaks of the era.
